Hey Guys,

Please let me know if I'm posting in the wrong forum and I will relocate my post topic.

I am interested in finding the easiest solution to the annoying speed camera problem in my country. We don't have cop radar guns, only mobile and fixed cameras.

Do jammers work on them to prevent photos? Do scramblers work? Please let me know the best way to beat fixed or mobile cameras because our problem is different to yours in the states.

Thanks,

WidowMaker

Sorry,

I spent a lot of time doing research and that's why I posted, but forgot to put the UAE/ Dubai as it's currently 5am.

I believe they operate the K-Band frequency and they use digital cameras now. My buddy had a V1 that was pretty good, but I'm looking for more than just a radar detector because that thing went off all the time. A lot of the electric doors use the same frequency so going past a gas station would set it off.

Is there anything that can block the camera from setting off and is there stealth kits available? Or am I stuck just getting a Valentine or Escort and then braking every time I hear it go off?

Thanks,
WM

You can look into the Escort 9500i. It uses GPS so you can "Lock Out" spots that you know are not cameras and what not to prevent falses. I have also heard that it is one of the quietest detectors around. (in terms of falses)

I dont own one so my knowledge is limited. Check out the Escort section to read up more about the 9500i and its truelock features.

other then that im not to sure about **** that works good with cameras? my best recommendation would be a good detector and to deal with some falses.

Thanks guys,

I really appreciate it. I know it's different over here with the Cameras so I appreciate your ideas. I will keep doing research and I will also check out the escort.

But if anyone has any suggestion please let me know,

Check out the Speed Cheetah GPS Mirror. It looks like your country is not one of the 37 supported, but you can manually enter the locations as you find them (just be careful until you find them all).
