I have 2, mine and my wifes. We both use the dell X51, and have had good luck with them. We have 1 gig cards in both slots and the gps which is a wastes of money.
If you want GPS,, get a real one.

I have an HP with that biometric thumb scanner, but I rarely use it since I got my tmobile dash running windows mobile 6.1. This way I can connect to my home cpu via an FTP and stream my music through my bluetooth Head unit.

I will say though, if you aren't going to take into account the fact that the dash is also a cell phone... the PDA's are alot more flexible than the smart phones are.

I'm a freaking geek :D

HTC PPC 6800 With WinMobile 6 thru US Cellular.

Trying to find the GPS hack that will work with my phone. Apparently this phone has a GPS chip that is disabled and only allows E911 access. Some others with Alltel and Sprint have activated theirs so it works as a GPS receiver.

I am wondering if there is any possibility that the GPS in my 9500i might work as a receiver. I just got my phone and will try to make the hack work first as I doubt I will be able to communicate with the 9500i from the phone.

I need a 10-year old kid to show me how to run that part!

its currently being looks at for the verizon and us cellular versions. im sure we will get it cracked any day now though.

the only way you can use gps off the 9500 is by bluetooth, unfortunately. before we had the gps, i went out and bought a external gps receiver ($100) for mine so i could make it work. google maps is fricken sweet on these phones!

Yeah, i don't meddle with ppc geeks much anymore. I usually find that they deal with second hand info from xda and more users there seem to be newbs posting dumb comments like "DCD, YOU BRICKED MY PHONE" lol just a observation. The community though is great some of those guys put in allot of work into maximizing our Phones.

I have multiple PDAs and a PDA-phone, but most of the time I don't use them in the car. Given a reason, I might use them more often, but for most of my short trips around town, I don't need the GPS features and would rather travel light with a smaller cellphone.

BTW, the download links for Active Stealth were 404 on the USA site, but worked off of the main site.

I've got the demo running on my iPaq hw6940 now.

my batt life is pretty good on my mogul w/ the newest radio firmware and a cooked wm6.1 (bare) rom on it.

i'm very happy and have tons of memory left since i didnt cook any of the crap bloatware in the rom.

i REALLY love wmwifirouter on this thing and the gps is very handy

wmwifirouter .91 here, and gps with google maps is awesome. memory is alot better with the new firmware, and the hacks for battery life still have a decent effect on the longevity of the phone. now if we would just get mms capability..........
