View Full Version : Two of my friends have Cobra's.

One of them is about 5 years old, and one is about 2 years old. I was driving around with them the other day, and against all known falses, they both alert less than half the distance of my V1, and my old (sold) Bel STi. I saw the newer on perform up against a LEO shooting C/O Ka, and the detection distance was terrible, maybe 300 feet. Needless to say, we saw the LEO way before the Cobra alerted.

Due to the horrible detection distance, it's easy to understand why they have over 15 speeding tickets collectively.

How many of you first thought that he was talking about his 2 friends' ages when they first read it, like me?

You really shouldn't even let them drive at that age.

Edit: Damnit... you guys already called him out on it!

I will admit that a joke/jab would have been more fun/appropriate, but then you wouldn't have had anything to say. Plus, I'm not that good at the one liners...

I take that back, I'm sure you would have found something to say...

I was actually thinking that those cobras have grown to be pretty big at 2 and 5 years of age.

Shame on you. Friends don't let friends buy Cobras. My dad didn't have the parenting skills to say no to the Radioshack sellsmen. Then I got stuck with one. ;)

It sounds like your dad, just like my dad, doesn't know doo doo about electronics. May dad says that all electronics are the work of the devil and that only the devil's disciples know how to operate them. On the bright side, my dad finally has learned where the power button is on his computer! :D

No he is addicted to his smart phone but is a slow a$$ driver. 5-10 under the PSL on long trips if we don't stay on him. He isn't even elderly and goes that slow. Whats that mean when he's 70?? :driver:

When my grandfather was in his 80s he would drive about 45mph everywhere. He never hit the interstate... but on the highway... 45. In a 25mph school zone... 45.
