Hi, I just had a ZR3 installed but the heads aren't *perfectly* level. Will it still be effective if the transponders are slightly tilted? I guess a little less than 10 degrees or so. I always wondered why the orientation affects performance anyway? Any advice is appreciated.

You want them as level as possible.
At a distance, 10 degrees could equate to a lot. The jammer could be firing at the ground, or over the head of the targeting laser gun.

Oh ok. Does it make a difference if the transponders are tilted right to left, instead of front to rear/ rear to front?

Per Escort: They should be perfectly level to the road and face directly foward, not looking left or right. The Led's within the shifters are already positioned for proper coverage.

get a smal water level( i had one come with my pulse master) this will be the easiest way to make it perfect!

It's hard to do with a level since they are tapered!
