Escort 8500 V.S BEL 955 on KA 35.5

I have put the Whilster aside, and know Iam looking for these two. Both are my price range. Which one would be [B]BEST[B] at detection 35.5 ka band. Which one is good over hill performacne and curves. Sorry for all the theards, but this one hopefully would be last and I would by my back up Of courese the Escort will be refurb and come from escorts ebay store and the 955 would be new.

Original 8500 or 8500 X50? I have the 955 and a X50, and I will say the 955 pretty much smokes my X50, particularly in counties where Ka 35.5 is the norm and also on I/O.

ORIGINAL 8500 NON X50 is great on 35.5Ka. I remember how shocked we were when RacerX's SR7's (same thing as 8500 original) did the best on 35.5.
