The STixr text looks photoshopped to me. Do they really need a "model designed for australia and new zealand"?

no not at all...that is the age old crap marketing the aussie companys use..

and yeah I agree it looks photochopped to me too ;)

Love the company's name. No we aren't Beltronics, we're NELTRONICS!

And the STiXR! That is so much better, the letters XR really give it the sound of PERFORMANCE.

:lol: :lol:

The BELTRONICS and STI XR writing is photoshopped

Now all we need is Roy (infoAust) or RadarRoy to check it out with their Stalcar/Spectre's and see if it's immune,then I guess I will be getting it!

Ive already heard from them, here is my emails i got from them;

As of yet there is no exact date on when our new model will be ready for sale, but we are estimating late November/early December for a RRP of $1099.00. I will note down your email and contact you when they become available.

Kind Regards

Then I said;

Geez is the price correct???…I will stick to the RX65 I think for that price…I nearly fell over!!!!

Thanks

Then he said;

The price is correct. There has been 8 years of r&r and USD$12m involved in the production of this unit. Its quite superior to the RX65 in range and filtering, comes complete with all accessories, magnesium housing, undetectability, etc. For and extra $200 (RX65 RRP$899) I think it is well worth it.

Just think if you get caught with an RX65 in the eastern states, it is confiscated (there goes $899) and then there are the varing fines after that. Is $200 over the lifespan of your detector worthwhile, I would say yes.

I think what hes trying to say is that he got his RX65 for $693 as opposed to the retail price of $800+, therefore, he should try the same people and see what price they can get the STiXR for.

What I'd really like to see is a concealed-install version, like the RX75. I'd cheerfully pay big cash for that. That could really be the ultimate in stealth.

I will give you an update as soon as it hits the shores.

Zero leakage! Not possible ... Frequency shifted??

Wait and see and be patient!

Bear in mind Spectre increased their sweep by 100mhz!

I will give you an true assesment and report as soon as I have tested it with my new Stalcar/Spectre MK 3 RDD!

I hope it is truly ZERO!

Have my reservations.

Maybe the Ninja is zero also!

The Ninja does probably have zero leakage. Only problem is..........it doesn't detect radar very well, if at all. The least they could do is put Fuzzbuster internals in it. Passive receiver, nothing to leak.
