I've had this version for about two years. All of the sudden, it falses (laser) to sunlight a lot. I also notice that KA is not nearly as sensitive as it once was. I'm getting tired of having to "tune" this detector every two-three years. Am I the odd duck out here, or are others seeing the same? That Redline might be coming back to my world sooner than I thought...

My 3.872 drove me crazy with laser falses from (seemingly) the sun. The day I ordered the Redline I got 5 in about 2 miles.

I have a 3.872 and I haven't had any problems. Mine is behind the tint strip and the only false Lidar I get is from Infinity's, I-pass, and some GMC Third lights. I would send it to V1 for a tune up if it is lacking to how you think it should perform and I know that will fix it:thumb2:
Also Where is your mounted? My bel was know for falses from the sun if it was to low and got a reflection from the sun off the hood. Don't know if the V1 has the same problem.

The ONLY falses I get are to Infiniti's and it picks them up every time. Mine is high and over the RVM.
I don't get to worked up over it, because if I do not hear the Blinder M47 I feel somewhat confident that it is a false....and to clarify I still become very aware of my surroundings;)!

I mostley get laser falses from Infiniti's too, lots of them around me. Some falses are also from the sun but not that much.
KA seems ok, and K is about as good as my 9500ix was. I'm glad i bought the V1 just for the arrows. :o
Every now and then I will get a rare laser false. It seems to be most when the sun is setting.

The only false I have gotten was from an avalanche, but then again I haven't had my V1 that long.

I haven't had any problems with any of my V1's other than infinities and trail blazers
