Would anyone be able to explain to me how to get a google map image and mark something on them?
What I want to do is send Beltronics the correct fixed camera locations for my city. Thanks in advance:)

You could find the location, right click, and select "What's here." That'll give you the coordinates, which they can just type in, and give them the exact location.

Or, screen shot it, then mark the locations with paint.

Bring the map you want -> Hit the PRTSC key (print screen) -> open MS paint -> Crtl V (paste)

Also, if you have a google account there are Labs available now (the green flask in the top right) that after enabled will show you the Lat and Long under the mouse cursor or a marker you can put down to show it.

I figure you've already used one of the methods ELVATO described which are more than adequate, but this could make future reporting more expedient.

You could also just link them the google map page like so:
42.356422, -71.009243 - Google Maps (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=42.356422,-71.009243&daddr=&hl=en&geocode=&mra=mi&mrsp=0&sz=17&sll=42.356403,-71.009166&sspn=0.005899,0.013937&ie=UTF8&z=17)

I placed a starting location, which gives me a lat/long, then just click the link button at the top right.
