Now that I've got your attention:D
I have a burning desire to make a undetectable V1. I'm sure i'm not the only one who has had this idea cross thier mind. But I just want one becuase all I ever hear about is how good they are but I live in Spectre land.
Before I set out on this mission I would like to know a few things:
Am I just wasting me time?
Is it even possible because if it was i suppose someone would already be doing it?
So basically what I want to know is should I just give up before I start?

Yes. V1 can't be stealthed. Belscort detectors with the M3 antenna aren't currently detectable with the Spectre device, and they own the patent on the antenna technology used, to the best of my knowledge (just as Valentine Research owns the patent on the dual radar antennas, arrows, etc.).
No, for the same reasons.
Yes. If you want/need stealth, go M3. There is a good deal of info on this forum - just search, and you will be rewarded. :)

Maybe you would like to know that is has already been done before...
Essentially it ruins the integrity of the V1 and the pricing skyrockets to ~$1,000... have at it but it is such a waste of time.

Yes. V1 can't be stealthed. ...
Incorrect. It has already been done, (there was an article posted many times on here eons ago) but to say it was a V1 by any extent is not really true...

IT was the V1 1.7 and a dude is from Australia that did it. Radar Roy knows him from memory. Remember never say never a stealth 2 front and 1 back antenna could be on the cards for the V1. I would pay big bucks myself for it. Say what did that 9500ci run ya DJ...around $1600..... and ramp ups still not fixed:p

Perhaps we're both correct, in a way. The "stealth" job mentioned started with a V1 basis, but destroyed its rear antenna capability, and thus the V1's characteristic situational awareness (arrows), so it wasn't really a V1 in the end.
The V1 can't be stealthed from Spectre and still be a V1. (Maybe I'm wrong. If anyone on the forum has one of these, we'd all like to hear about it. Pics? Video? Plans?)
Using the Belscort M4 models (9500ci, 9500ix, Redline, etc.) would make sense, if stealth is the issue.

Is a 9500ix stealth?

Is a 9500ix stealth? No, not stealth. The 9500ix is an M4, just like about 50 other Belscort RDs.

Thanks for clearing that up bro. I didn't think it was stealth.

If you need to ask these questions, you simply can't do it ;)

From what I read from MEM-TEK, a while back, because of the numerous patents Escort has, and what they cover in detail, it will be almost impossible for Valentine, or any other company to make a RD that's completely stealth (legally).
