Hi Guys,

Just after some advice on the best placement of the LI Quad. I was thinking of putting the front two heads in the grille just above the bumper between the number plate and the headlight.

The rear heads need to defeat the Poliscan. I was thinking the best place would be on top of the rear bumper as thats the height the Poliscan sits, but they would be too obvious there. The next option is in the number plate cut out. Do you know if you can "cross the beams" if the heads? For the Poliscan they need to be pointing out 45 degrees, so ideally it would be best to have the drivers side one facing across to the passenger side, and the passenger side head facing across to the drivers side. That would allow them to be recessed further and more difficult to see.

Also, i was thinking of putting the display screen for my Bel STI XR-C in the dash vent so that it can still be seen, but difficult to find by LEO's. I was a little worried about the temperaturees in there with the air con or heater being on.

What do you guys think???

Yeah thats about where i was going to put the front ones, maybe just a little lower than that.

It would be great to put the rears ones there but it means cutting the bumper and they would stand out like a sore thumb to anyone (especially a LEO). I read the thread on them being in the headlights and the clear lense not affecting their performance. I would try to do that with the rear but my tail lights are tinted, so that may affect them.

I know my rear options are limited, but i really didnt want to be cutting the bumper.

The LI's come with mounting brackets...

Oh god, that rear looks horrible to have to protect :(. Hopefully the bubble in will cover you for license plate shots. You need to get it tested, very important.

As far as the front goes, fog light delete comes to mind.

The rear heads need to defeat the Poliscan.
Let us know how that works out.

are those black things above your headlights supposed to be eyelids? they're HUGE! and are those halos? Let me guess, eGay headlights with an hid kit? /facepalm.

Agreed with jakes suggestion. good work sir.

The fog lights are going shortly. There is going to be cooling hose going from there to the front brakes.

The headlights are halos but sourced locally (the same as you get from eGay I would imagine). The black part at the top has been tinted with nightshades paint (same as the rears) to get rid of the HUGE indicator light area. It looks black but still allows the indicator light to shine through.

Picked up the LI this morning so going to try fitting it over the next few days. I will keep you posted.

No HID's. Apparently you can't use them in the halo lights
