I would like to thank Rob (RadarRob) for installing the Laser Interceptor dual into my 2008 BMW 335XI coupe today. He did a great job. It was not an easy install and he came through and made it perfect. He had to customize the grill to install the Laser Interceptor and it is still very stealth. After testing the unit and making one small adjustment we had JTG every time. He used the True Speed and Ultralight I believe. I will attempt to post up some pictures. I recommend anyone looking to get a Laser Jammer to have Rob install it for them. He knows what he is doing and is very nice. He also tests the system out unlike shops with laser guns that are used in the area. Thanks again Rob.

I seen some pictures posted by him in his East Coast Installer or whatever thread. I assume those were pictures of your install? If so, it all looked very clean.

I'm curious as to where/how you ran the wires through the firewall and if you had to cut the connectors off, feed wires through firewall, then crimp new connectors on.

There is never a need to cut the connectors off to feed the wires through the firewall. All European cars I've encountered have a grommet in the firewall somewhere. And I pretty much deal with European exclusively these day. I think Rob will tell you the same as far as not needing to cut off the connectors.

I did not need to cut anything. The only car that may need cutting is the new 2011 audi cars. I did one install and had to drill threw firewall.

power switch and CPU are out in open near the shifter. he will be taking the BMW back for service and have them re do the power and ground dew to on the BMW's the fuse box is on pass side and the wire to splice into does not reach all the way to drivers side.
