After having my laser interceptors installed for a little over a month and not being hit with laser once it finally happed once last night on the way home from work and 1 times tonight. My Valentine One seems to alert just a little faster then the jammer but i assume the LI's work because both times it was a continuous alert like he was shooting the laser gun multiple times at my car and last night I watched the cop follow my car with the laser gun as I passed him. Because jammes are legal in Florida I left them on the whole time but only as a test so i could tell if the cop was continuously shooting trying to get a read. Its not something I would continue to do in the future. It seems everything works well

Don't JTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just because they are "legal" doesn't mean it isnt technically legal to use. For example its technically also "obstruction of justice" or "obstructing a peace officer".

Either way don't JTG, it brings unwanted attention about jammers. Just turn off the system as soon as you slow down. That way the Leo is none the wiser.

If you want to see if the jammer is working to its full potential, find someone in your area to test it for you. Its generally not hard to find someone and takes only around an hour of your day. Plus its worth it.

If you keep Jamming To Gun real police officers, they won't be legal for long. This is never a good idea, and is a major dis-service to all of us. Aside from that, you are inviting the LEO to try his best to slap you with some other charge that is potentially much worse than speeding.

Cut the crap, dont JTG! EVER!

but only as a test

Just because you bolded and put the letters in red, doesn't mean it's okay and we still don't/won't have any sympathy for you. It's simply, NEVER OKAY TO JTG. If you want your set up tested, find a forum member on here who will test it, or simply buy your own gun. It's never okay to JTG, even it's your first encounter. Don't do it again.

It's better to JTG with enthusiasts; with cops always JTK (shut the jammers off after slowing down).

I've read that the LI's jam for about a second before they alert, so that's why the V1 alerted first.

Don't take these responses personally. JTG is just something that is severely frowned upon in the counter measure industry. Its always nice to know your system works, but when it comes to a real threat you should try and turn the laser jammer off as quickly as you can, as to not raise the LEOs suspicion

If you you are lucky then he'll just think that his gun had a temporary glitch, if you (and that means we) are unlucky then you may have really p'd him off and he'll rant to colleagues about these things.

Maybe the gun maker will get a complaint, the state lawmakers... etc... etc...

IMO, all not good.

Jesus christ, i think he knows not to JTG by now. At least he didn't ask the cop if he got a reading.

Since it was once, the cop probably thought it was a malfunction. Just remember to JTK next time.

Actually do take it personally, you screwed up and knew it or you would not have put the "it's just a test" BS in there. A few people like you screwed the pooch for everyone in TX. Don't think it can't happen in FL as well.

There was also a FL member here that thought the same thing and spent a few hours on the side of the road while LEO's tried to conjure up something to charge him with. Keep it up maybe you'll get to spend $5K+ on legal fees to get you out of a jam for being foolish.

I take nothing personally this is the Internet no one including yourself is perfect. As for jamming there guns I am sure the two cops who I did jam the gun on blew it off seeing as neither of them even moved after I drove by. And we act like cops are oblivious to this technology we have out there.... come on get real. I am sure I am not the first one to jam the gun completely and I am 100% sure I will not be the last.

I think "that kid" has learned by now. ;)

Accidental JTGs do happen, I think the jammer FAQ even coined a name for it, a "riverwabbit". ;) It happens, so just be more aware next time and JTK.

As for jamming there guns I am sure the two cops who I did jam the gun on blew it off seeing as neither of them even moved after I drove by. This might be true, however just keep on doing that a few times more times and the LEO's put car recognition along w/their guns being jammed and you will probably change you opinion on this after some harassment from them.

And we act like cops are oblivious to this technology we have out there.... come on get real. I am sure I am not the first one to jam the gun completely and I am 100% sure I will not be the last. This is the backwards logic that irritates most members on here on this forum, and that's why jammers are illegal in now 11 states I believe the number is.

If you accidentally JTG then most peeps on here can forgive that, esp if your a noob, but when you intentionally JTG LEO's for test purposes that strikes me at least odd. but leans more towards obtuse.

The Internet is like going into a saloon where everyone is in disguise, drinking heavily and they hand you a gun at the door.

I think that was included in the bill that bumped the speed limit to 80 or 85 on some of the lonelier stretches of I-10 & I-20, mostly in the western part of the state. I have no idea how jammers happened to be on a lawmaker's hit list and what was said on the subject. The new law will take effect in September, so I hear. To me, that just means I need to hide the heads a bit better than they are now and be careful to JTK with no wasted time.
