LI and V1 alerts falsely?

I recently had my V1 upgraded to the latest 3.872 and have had it connected to my LI module since the day I got my LI.

After getting my V1 connected again it seems as though the LI is announcing K-band alerts when the V1 doesn't. I don't remember it acting like this prior to the upgrade.

What do you think is goin on?

You're saying the LI announces K band when you don't get a K band alert on the V1?

Are you running a concealed display? Do you see the K band indicator light up when this happens? The LI's radar alerts are triggered by the V1 data stream that drives the concealed display.

I meant Ka Band not K-band.

Yep, I'm running the concealed display and when I sometimes when I get a LI voice alert for a Ka Band, there is no warning on the V1.

That's strange. Maybe check the connections to make sure they're seated firmly. There's no error checking in the V1 CD data stream, so a missed bit could cause falses like that.
