Loveing up my Escort X-50 rev. 5 blue. :) Ahh PA K-Band I love IT!

Ah, loving up my Escort rev. 5 blue. Was rolling down US22 yesterday, when I got a faint alert of K-Band Radar to my front over a hill. Backed out of it. Backed down 8 to psl. Go over the hill begging to ramp a little more, then more, and more. I get to the bottom of the hill. To my right I see, PA statie, with decatur K band out the drivers side window off axis right at me. Sitting right behind a concrete barrier. Nice little setup, except the constant on which is required here in PA. Though he had a nice low emission setup. Using the bridge concrete to cut emissions, and shooting at a nice 45 degree across behind the other concrete barrier. Deadly stuff. X-50 gave me the save though. I lived to see another day. Ah, X-50 the old school K-band killer. Back in style. I love it. Mile Marker seen 30mile marker. Watching? West Bound traffic from on ramp.

Be careful. Constant on is not a requirement here in Pa. Actually i/o is by far more common, usually pretty sloppy though. Especially beware of the Falcon HR low power guns, can be deadly. You must have encountered a lazy trooper. I read somewhere a Pa. trooper quoted as saying using radar here is like shooting fish in a barrel, and I think this is the mindset most have. They have the tools to be very tricky when they want to. Take care.

Ka instant-on too. Just no moving radar in PA.

Fun zipping through PA as long as you can see ahead and can check onramps over your shoulder. :)

Wow, long time no see Alpinestars. Yes K an surprisingly ka band are used all over PA. Heck, I even ran into an X band radar drone N-bound side of I-70 on one of those Amber colored Digital billboards. Wow, that shocke me and just up the freeway I saw PSP running I/O k band in the median. Picked all of that up w/ an Escort 8500 "original" at the time. I also picked up some 34.7 speed signs on I-90 around Erie PA w/ my Escort Redline.

Wow Ka In PA? I've seen it by a PSP but thought they had given that up after the Philly lawsuits out here with the laser tickets they had to drop?

What is up with the PA state Legislation for pro-lidar laws and radar mobile? Are they going through or no?
