I was going to get a Bel 946 for when I ride my motorcycle (CBR F4) because it has that mirror accessory that allows signals to reflect into the unit.
But then I realized that normal range on the Solo 2 is twice that of the Bel 946. However, the Solo 2 does not have an attachable mirror for front pocket use.
So here is my question:
What would have the better range....the Bel 946 in pocket with mirror attachment, or the Solo 2 in pocket with radar horn simply pointing towards the sky?
