The new Escort Laser ShifterPro looks exactly the same as my Laser Interceptor. It's also nearly the same price. What gives? Did Escort totally copy the LI?

Nope its no copy, it is the LI, just branded for Escort.

Not that i am aware of. Like many things over seas its easy to get them to make you a product with out having to partner up.

My understanding is that Blinder (which owns the underlying patent) has allowed LI to do just that. Life is full of irony. :)
