Hes talking about how nice it is to drive the vehicle.

Top speed 309 Km/h.

It did the nuerenburg ring in 8 min.

Quite an experience... blah blah

AWD drive helps in curves...

no understeer or oversteer. Through the AWD always stable.

700PS (690 horsepower) the lemans version is only slightly different than the productionmanual.
within 12 months, bmw put the lemans version on the street.

blah blah...

Anyway, that was just some snipets.

That SOB had ZERO roll in the turns, you can make a FIAT do the same if you did the same suspension and engine work. That thing is beyond an ordinary X5. 8)

According to what the guy said it was a stock X5, with a beefed up engine.
He went on quite a bit about how he was impressed that the car itself could handle that engine and power without modification.

Now I saw the driver seat was modded, but according to what he said it was stock.

BTW... the language was German.

Want zero roll? Remove the springs and install some hardened steel sleeves in their place and weld the shocks...

i think he wants zero body roll while still maintaining adequate ride quality

I've driven a stock x5 on several occasions, and can tell you it handles very differently from your standard run of the mill SUV. It does not have that same boatlike ride many SUVs exhibit.

I realize the stock X5 has great suspension work, but com'on, that puppy had some additionals, true it was a //M version, so that by itself is not or ordinary stock car. Maybe considered stock for //M, but not your ordinary X5.

"Got good grip from my 50 series tires" (song just popped into my head) :D
