RX65 speaker seized... HELP!

I just did the same thing. Called 800-341-2288 (Beltronics Support)

New speaker sent out to me for a total of $7.

just put the speaker in, took me all of 5 minutes... actually took me longer to find the soldering gun than fix it... :oops:

works great!

screw $85... if you ever have a speaker go scratchy or dead and you're out of warranty, pick up the phone, order a speaker for $7.00, and put it in yourself

Or just look in your dead electronics bin and scavenge for something... ...

Agreed...but all my spare parts are at home while I'm off at college :(

Though I do have my butane soldering iron with me :)
