police know far less than you give them credit for when operating these deviced believe me...As far as this massive search you believe they will do it is highly highly unlikely unless they suspect you have drugs on board and you are smoking a joint when they stop you. Many other sources can set off a rdd believe me and yes it is even possible a CB can do it too since it has been found in the past that a CB can even interfere with a police radar...! :shock:

yes only whist the PTT is pressed and you are transmitting....not whilst in RX mode, and even then it is rare.
