I would go and say that most of the truckers I see are driving properly and most of the stuff that goes wrong around them are people in cars... seen a lot where a car cuts one off and you see the smoke coming from the truck as the tires on the trailer lock up :shock:

When someone does that, the trucker should be allowed to simply run right over the car. It would remove some of the idiot drivers off the road, and it wouldn't do much damage to the truck. ;)

I was in Dallas one time and a guy pulled in front of me and hit the breaks, he did it 3 times and I so badly wanted to drop a gear and floor it.
But the company I'm leased to don't like me running over cars and or people.

I've never had a bad experience with an 18 wheeler. However, I always make sure I stay in their mirrors, out of their blindsot, pass quickly and wave after I go by. On my record run from Houston to Atlanta enough of them noticed my waving they mentioned it on the air a couple of times.

Of course I give them a lot of latitude because it's my playground but their office. Gotta give em some respect.

Lol, Trucks on Interstate 5 run like 70 or 75 and the limit is 55 for all trucks with trailers. Its funny because thats the speed limit for cars and the cars get pissed when trucks don't move because they want to go 90+ :)

I ran 65-68 mph all the time in California and never once caught so much as a stern look from the CHP. And that was travelling on CA99, CA58, I-10, I-40 and I-80 frequently.

If that truck driver buys one and gets smart about it's use and concealment, it is worth every dime and he will wonder why he didn't do it sooner.

I am a freight broker now, but I used to be a long and mean, red and black rooster cruising Peterbilt screaming machine. Sometimes I was tame and sometimes I was not. I used it religiously and now I drive 32 miles one way to work in my 07 Impala SS. I can't imagine driving without my STI PERIOD.
