For a detector designed as a remote permanent install, that one sure does move around alot!

Have a safe trip and enjoy yourself. If I know you, you'll take the long way just to pick up a few more contacts!

I was thinking the same thing, this remote unit gets more installs than the average window unit. I think it is great and I applaud the innovation and passion behind the install. This is the type of thing that you can only find on this forum.
    Safe travels.

PS- I think I know the first person in line when the STi Driver Plus comes out with band segmentation (I did not mention this to start a rumor...only noting the obvious....he wants the Plus "to go")

Back home from the RV trip. Had a great time but it was really hot where we went. I got alot of ka c/o 34.7 but nothing out of the ordinary to talk about.

The RV is a 32' fleetwood that expands. Again very happy how the + did out in the desert environment. Zero falses except on laser 2x's.
Again did notice once again that the farther the back the antenna is from the window. It cuts down on the performance~

    Glad it worked well.

I've noticed a reduction in off axis performance when the RD is further away from the windshield. (i.e. Supercup mount)

I had it at about 1- 1/2 feet from the window. And it still detected very well. I wasnt too worried about getting a ticket in the RV :P I put the + in the motorhome just for the fun and see how it does in the calif desert theatre.
