.....hey, blinder-guy, ya ever post that brief i sent you?...did you ever ask that question we talked about?
......ok, i have received the logic module today and hooked up the system as usual....guess what?...same results!..damn!....
....with two heads plugged in i get a constant buzz (self check) that never quits...
....with one head plugged in it self checks normally but, will not activate when an ir (tv remote as said in the original instructions and as it did when new) source is applied to the head as it NORMALLY DOES/DID....
....with the other head plugged in as above, i get a constant buzz.....
....i have tried all 4 jacks with the same results....
....the numbers on the logic boxes are different from each other....
....just a thought; could the buzzer/warning led/buzzer be defective causing this?

Sounds like the heads are bad to me.

Have you unplugged everything else from the CPU except the heads? No speaker, no led, etc. If you have nothing but a new CPU and 2 heads plugged in then it must be the heads.
Or the bad head shorted out the new CPU?
