Yes the M27 added the USB upgrade capability. However , it seems that you can't change the firmware region code , which means if you have US version you can't change to EU version and vice-versa. Just found that with my US version while i'm in France...........

I hope the US version contains enough LIDAR's "database" to protect me from EU guns.

Try unplugging the CPU and doing a EU reset. Plug the CPU back in and turn system back on to jam mode. Wait for 1 minute till heads unlock. Unplug the CPU and then program with the EU software. Try that and let me know...If not then do the USA reset the program the EU software. It is important that the cpu be disconnected from power when doing the program..Only power from USB should be used.

Why do they have a US and EU model? Make one model and you don't have any issues.

The US version only includes guns approved for use in the USA. Less in the look up table.

Is it a memory issue about having all US/EU guns in the look up table, or does it just make the Blinder more responsive with less guns in the table.

More responsive I believe. Less guns to sort through in the look-up table.

Thanks for the try. Unfortunately , I can't choose the EU reset ( nor the EU update ) because when I select it and press "UpUpdate CPU Firmware" I've got the below error :

"This firmeware can not be used in the connected device. Select the correct region."

If you are going to be in EU then email support@Blinder.dk and explain situation about having the US version and see about a swap of the CPU. How did you get a USA version in Europe?

I wasn't aware that Blinder was a DK company. I bought it from buyradardetectors.com which was promotted by Veil ( since Radarbusters from Roy don't have he M27 yet ).
As you could see on my previous post , I also bought the Cheetah wireless kit but thats another thread about the compatiblity of the two.

I just mailed DK office ( thanks to you ) and hope they will help me. ( I just paid 100 EUR for duties and taxes !!!!! thats sucks if I have to pay for another CPU )

I would also contact cheetah because I was told the new wireless kit was compatible. Maybe there is a difference between old and new. You could have gotten an old one.
