Yeah there are some bikes that have 1HP per every 2 pounds, your correct there.
Some of the racing superbikes were claiming 240HP on 360pounds.
(The biggest problem with bikes is putting all that HP to the ground... one of two things happens:)
1: Tire just slips and slides, but that have all electronic Anti's to combat that, also backing clutches to prevent hop-in upon corner entry... (small contact patches)
2: Front wheel goes up, front wheel is directly over back wheel, front wheel is behind back wheel.

I run a 150 shot of nitrous (not a honda) for the last 3 years. My car is a street- registered car. As stated above there will always be strain on the engine with turbo or SC.
As for the "turbo being faster anyways" my answer is I will up the nitrous on your a$$.
As for the "ultimately destroyed my car"...It sounds like someone didn't take out enough timing, when they "upped" the shot of nitrous OR your car was not made to handle the increase in HP, in which case "turbo" would have done the same..
On another note I will be switching to SC next year AND keeping at least 125 shot of nitrous :twisted:
I dunno how a mechanical supercharging system would put more strain "always". It's usually only at near WOT conditions that you increase the manifold pressure significantly... 85% of the time the turbocharger just spins freely.

I had the right amount and the car handled it just fine, it was just the extra power over time that killed the car. Without the N2O the car wouldve probally lasted 2-3 more years.
