I had 2 FWD cars both were 4 cyl. Great on gas o.k for work car.
I really like RWD, much more fun. :)

3 RWD cars and 1 FWD. I hate the FWD car it will be replaced with a RWD next year (it was the wife's before we met)

Both 4x4s, but of course RWD on the street, a manual tranny and RWD is the only way to have fun :D

Hmmm. I have:

AWD Cadillac STS
RWD Cadillac CTS
FWD neon (SRT4)
and a 4WD Chevy PU
(Won't count the RWD Mazda PU or 2WD motorcycle...)

Even though the Caddy AWD isn't on par with a lot of AWD systems I like it the best. I think the mag shocks make the most difference though...

If the CTS had the same engine, mag suspension and AWD... Wow... I'd live in it...

RWD with on the fly 4WD, able to switch at speeds up to 55 mph.

RWD with with one touch 4WD. I also have a FWD vehicle which is pretty good in all weather.

AWD FTW, unless you're a drift king.

I'm currently driving a FWD car and you're right, torque steer sucks and the understeer is a complete drag when cornering hard. OTOH, I'll say this. FWD/understeer really is predictable and let's you know what's coming before you drive off the road.

After 10 years of driving the same FWD platform, I find myself braking during wet, fast turns to kick the back out and counter-balance the understeer, just to have some fun and get the car to do what I want it to. You know something's wrong when you start finding ways to lose traction in a controlled way just to get the car to exit properly, instead of understeering straight off the road...

FWD w/low pro tires here; sucks in snow. Torque steer not a problem for me since Hondas dont produce any torque. :haha:

Part-time 4WD-1 (1995 Jeep Cherokee-DD)
AWD-3 (2006 Audi S4 Avant, 2008 BMW 335xi, 2009 Nissan GT-R)
RWD- 2many2count (Trucks, e36 M3, full race Alfa Romeo,...)

Consider the 335xi. It would work well in all 4 seasons and look great slightly lowered.
