^ Good stuff. :)
Again, that I can agree, completely, with.
So now, it seems, the problem becomes one of setup - specifically, what to do when a front plate is something that the vehicle's driver cannot do without, for whatever his/her chosen reason.
Indeed, in that case, like you said, it will require even more thought and effort to address, as well as, I think, perhaps requiring relocation of the jammer heads to optimize performance for this intense vulnerability.

Exactly allen you nailed it bud. That and then that brings up yet another option, thought, of it also possibly requiring more heads to provide JTG preformance if such a thing is around your area. This is also another option. If JTG preformance is a major concern. Relocation of the heads like we both agree'd apon to a position even closer to the plate itself, and then perhaps other heads guarding the headlamps. That is taking it a bit far, but as you can see that would also provide the maximum jam possible. Also the most output wattage to affect the gun at these points of interest that are known targets, and also weak points in your defense.
Video is almost done. Very close, one more clip to add, then credits and it's done all ;). Might be done tonight, or sometime tomarrow for sure. Have to run over to WB today so might take a little bit longer because of that.

^ Given what the kind officer Fritter was able to educate us about, I think that adding more heads, although it may sound ridiculous (as well as will be a big drain on the pocketbook), may indeed be the only way to guaranty "true-JTG" performance, in terms of jammer alone......
To-wit:
Steagall had a M55 (five heads!) front setup on his previous-generation Honda Accord sedan (white, no front plate, no other modifications - the two upper heads are M25 J16, lower are M25 J11, IIRC).
He confessed that he can still elicit PT, at precisely one (two, counting the other side, same place) location on his font - lower outside, front corner of the bumper.

Hey bro, "all good things come to those who wait." I'm more than willing to wait. :)

I personally have never tried such a test. However, I have used the special signal strength tone indicator setting from the Ultralyte LR to test the IR signature of the front plate with and without the Laser Shield. I assure you that the intensity without the shield was stronger. I've also visually confirmed this with a green laser pointer, red laser pointer, and the flash from a camera. From those three visible tests, I concluded that the reflection WITH the laser shield was still bright as all h3ll but it was NOT as bright as the reflection with no shield. So.... What am I saying, if the laser shield was removed from the front plate with the LI active, then maybe Alpine would have gotten a 1400 ft reading with his LZ1 on Aoshi's car. To say the laser shield is useful by itself would be foolish. If it doesn't at least cut down on the plate's IR signature for you, at least it'll help keep your plate clean!:p
Again, were these 1000ft pt's obtained while targeting center mass?
All in all, your results are inline with those reported by the man from the land down under, Tactical.
I'll give this test a whirl this weekend. Should be interesting!
Thank you guys again for the report!
Pmoth if there is ever another NE test I'll make sure to request LaserShield testing with jammer off on my car. I am technically book with exam prep but I could squeeze some time in for some your Laser Atlanta vs my set-up LaserSheild test
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where are the jammer heads on the Z06? I can't see them in Jimbonnzz pictures.
I know 3500ft punchthroughs are fun but they certainly not real world so I would kinda like to see the CFL testing style just the PTs on each run as the car approaches and....
Also taking a page from GOL it would be be good for new testers to count down in seconds how long till first punchthrough so you get an idea on how much time you had to slow down
Great testing though its always good to see more results out there

Very nice video work Alpine. It looks awesome. I laughed when I saw that Stealth Micro Systems pen again. LOL

I like the video alpine, sorry I have not had said so yet, I have been suffering from a tooth abscess the last couple of days and it's killing me. I just got some antibiotics today and I hope they kick in soon.
