The Spectre II R.D.D. can pick up the cobra's.
LOL.
That is why they actually got sent into SMS in Aussie and Retuned.
Both mine and NMA's Spectre R.D.D.'s have be retuned by SMS in Aussie.
No they are not Spectre IV+ which is the Latest and Greatest RDD. Although, it gives you an Idea weather or not they are detectable. Which is nice. It gives you an idea of which are detectable, and more so than others.
The 9500ix did do great against the Spectre R.D.D. although it is not a IV+ so you can probably take that number and multiply it be atleast three for maybe a rough guess. We were trying to get it upgraded to a III. Although the problem is this. They where I's to begin with. And SMS I knew did offer an upgrade to II for officers when Cobra first came about with the Spectre I R.D.D. Immunity. SMS got upset and since all Cobra did was move the local ossillator leakage freq. they just offered an update to II for Spectre I R.D.D. users and the officers all sent in and can now OWN a Cobra RD.
What I didn't know untill we sent in for upgrade to II then to III hopefully was this. That the I can't be upgraded to a III or a IV or IV+. The reason why this is, is there are TWO versions of Spectre II R.D.D.
The version in which was upgraded from I to II, and the Version from the Factory that was a II.
The ones from the Factory that are II's can be upgraded to a III or IV or IV+.
The II's that were upgraded from a I are like a Spectre II Rev. 1 R.D.D. if you get my drift. And the Spectre II Rev. 2 from the Factory can be upgraded to a III.
The Spectre II Rev. I and Spectre II Rev. II react the same as the components are redone in the I's to make them just as sensitive as a II. Although they are limited when upgradeing the ones with the board and can only take the I's so far, thus all they can do is upgrade them to a II's sensitivity at best.
So, there was nothing more we could do.
Unless others have the $ involved to help us attain a Spectre IV+ at 3,500 dollars.
As for the Vette and mounting Yes, his setup was jacked up on the Lidar end of things. Although yes his radar head was a tad lower on the Vehicle it had clean clear sight of the test site. It would have been nice if the Radar sensor was higher, although there aren't a hole lot of places on a vette i'd like to Cut open if you get my drift. Thats just a Very expensive ride :). I wasn't about to be cutting the man's plastic. LOL. If he want's to redo it we showed him where to mount his heads all of them. Me and NMA plan to link back up with him in the future, and reshoot his car. So Eventually we will post an update on what our findings are then. As for everything else. I think we were mounted just fine. Aoshi's stuff was good. Subdoo'ed but good, although Aoshi's stuff has to be due to restrictions. Every other unit was tested midwindshield as normal level to the roadway and within the lane of the roadway. But I do agree that mike did need to remount his ZR4. Although even mounted poorly it still should have offered something you'd think on a black car? Yet I encountered Zero resistence on any lidar while targeting him. Then again, i'd rather wait for a conclusion on that untill he mounts them more properly.. So..;)

Here's how I have mine mounted on the front of the Vette and it seems to work pretty well. If it's a lot different from the Z06 you might want to send it on to him to look at.

Thats how I recommended to Mike that he mount them in that location.

That's EXACTLY where I suggested he move the sensors. At the moment he has them hidden away in cutouts below the fog lamps. Thus the problem....

Ya, me and Aoshi both agreed on mounting them where cat 4 has his.

Sweet!
Date marked.
But as you well know, with me, that's still always up in the air. :(
Still, I can't complain about having a family. I *love* my family, and my first and biggest role in the world is being Dada to my little girl. I wouldn't trade anything for that.
But man, does it make it hard to "do my own thing!"

Thats a much better location IMO. Upper MI is just hard to get to because you have you go through southern anyways to get around the lakes. I also bought my GTO from a guy in Lansing, thank god for MI no front plate laws, although I guess that doesn't matter much on my bumper anymore anyways.
