It was probably not a retail model. I see this on the Speezones homepage:
"We tested retail models later, independently."

Yeah I read that and I am wondering why they don't show the consumers the independent results....Wouldn't those be better?
Oh wait then the companies wouldn't pay them to test the equipment:rolleyes:

Um, I still haven't seen a retail unit. Has anyone else? They're still not available retail as far as I can tell. Certainly not widely available.

The entire report is so completely pointless and nonsensical that it reminds me of a satirical article out of The Onion or something. You read this thing and you're left thinking, "They're joking, right?"

Well,
first, why is it that this year they didn't have certified officers shooting laser, but a Stalker rep shooting a Stalker?
Who seemed to pan wildly trying to get PT instead of the standard shooting tests.
I won't even get into the detector stuff, but they seem to do business as usual, and when the "paid" participants didn't do well they seem to get do overs that then get reported "officially" as 100% performance when they missed alerts.....
I'm sure i could go on and on about all the discrepancies over the years, but anyone with half a brain should be smart enough to take these results for what they are worth.

I'm sure they would have reported that the RMR Scramblers worked as advertised and were able to scramble the MPH BEE III at the 1000 foot cone marker!! :p
Re: 2009-2010 SML test are up
I call :bs2: Considering that the Spectre is a modified radar detector and that our detectors can pick up leaky Cobras, I don't see how it could be invisible to Spectre II and above. Cobra only claims immunity to Spectre I and VG-2. I haven't confirmed whether my 9960g can actually alert to the Spectre, but Radar Roy did state in his review that it did not alert to his Spectre.
