There's no way that anyone is going to be able to explain every data point. There is going to be performance variances between units. The two completely different types of tests might favor one unit or another. That's why everyone has to study the results and make their own interpretations.Quote:

Clay, I have seen your videos in the past. Does your version have KA guard and if so is it off?
Was POP on anytime on the Whistler's SE? POP OFF increases db's by 2-4 db's by manufacturing variance. I think the 78 was a 10db increase from the Pro 73. The Pro 73 was a very fast Instant on detector and was very good with K band.
I don't think of my self as a zombie either. Open-minded really but I do love my V1. Yes in those videos Ka guard was off.Quote:

So this means for a Belscort or Cobra and any other brand has to detect radar a full 2-3 seconds. This is playing with fire. State Troopers are quick on the trigger on busy Highways/Interstates in order to avoid being exposed. This is why Cobras and other brands make good rabbits !Quote:

All RD's for the real world test were tested at their default settings with one exception. All were put on highway mode. For side tests we did turn off POP on the Whistlers and did not notice a noticeable difference in performance
Sti Beat the Ci and ix on 33.8
Sti Beat the Ci and ix on 34.7
Sti Tied the ix on 35.5 and beat all the V1's.
