I particulaly liked the realistic positioning of the shooter, a bit off the road, well thought out.
I was a bit suprised with the centermass PT distance with LI vs LZ1, relative to the lower PT distances vs the headlights, which historicaly are harder to defend.
I wonder if the LZ1 was able to deliver the PT by defeating the LI in that instant, or, if the LI lost site of the beam & simply ceased firing.
Thank you for your complements. To much testing is done in an unrealistic straight line fashion. ECCTG is attempting to set a new precedent for real world testing.
I was actually discussing this with the owner of the car the other day. We are going to be doing some more testing soon, however, his setup has dramatically changed since this video.
That stalker is a powerful gun, actually in particular that stalker is more deadly than any other I've seen. (only two others tbo but the difference is pretty drastic) I'm very very surprised the Blinder did so well against it especially when it got eaten alive at the last test.
I think the PT was caused by a combination of both of those factors. The stalker being very powerful and the beam slipping between the two sensors. That won't happen any more though I assure you ;)
If you are wanting to test the kind of setup you mentioned in your thread about angling out two extra heads, I'd be more than happy to be the guniea pig. We would both get some benefit out of it. I will send you pics of how it looks if u are interested. I too was surprised with the CM PT on that car as its probably the best setup I've seen in person.

Every car is different so to be honest your results wouldn't mean anything relating it to my car, thanks though

It would seem that Blinder is consistent at being inconsistent.
If I were to buy a LED jammer again, I'd get a Zr4 so at least I would know in advance I will get a PT, vs being paranoid all the time with Blinders....just kidding, I am sure Blinders will work out the kinks someday.

I have no fear and mine work just fine...testing proves it!

Jmccam, the shooter, the LIDAR gun and his techniques matter.

His setup has run the toughest course against one of the best shooters on this forum. It's a solid setup.

If thats true then clearly there are consistency issues...
