Default Looking for other radar detector solutions

Guys i have been a big fan of Escort for MANY years. but frankly I'm getting really frustrated.
i bought 3 of the 360C units about 4 years ago when they came out
as you know at $650 a pop these things aren't cheap.
2 of them i have sent in for repair because they false Ka band constantly and paid the 100 bucks + shipping to have them repaired. the second one that i just got fixed now keep's giving me an error message about the FR sensor i can't recall the exact message but it has come up 3-4 times since the repair..
So now i have spent $1950 worth of radar detectors and another 200 + shipping and still getting constant false alerts.
on top of that escort customer service is impossible to reach due to staffing shortages.
i literally had my defective unit sitting on my desk at work for about a month as a constant reminder to try to get through to their service department and get the RMA so i could send it in.
then 3 weeks to wait for the repair.
i'm pretty much over escort at this point.
i have 3 units i am going to sell on ebay as well as an ix unit and i think i still have a couple MAX units sitting in boxes that i need to get rid of. i cant tell you how many thousands of dollars i have spent over the years with this company and it seems like they have totally gone to **** at this point.
hopefully i can sell them for enough to replace them all with another brand.

i am definitely not a fan of valentine 1
but any other brands i may consider that have GPS lockout.
since you guys are into these units hopefully some of you have some ideas for me rather than do all the research which i just don't have time for.
    thanks!

Sorry to hear about your 360c experiences.

In terms of other detectors, we would certainly recommend either the Uniden R7 or the newer more capable Uniden R8, which its expected release of April, 2022.

Veil had access to the first pre-production model of the Uniden R8 that was sent out to a third party for evaluation in early November of 2021 and has written a detailed review on it.

Here's a link to their Uniden R8 review.

RadarBusters has made available a wait list for those wishing to receive the very first production models from their limited number of their first production batch (on a first come first served basis).

If you have any further questions about the Uniden R8 (or its single antenna version, the Uniden R4), we will be happy to answer them here.
