That would suck... If it has the performance numbers that the Top 3/4 already have, it would be pointless to buy it... unless they have an awsome feature... or features on it. (This is how come the Sti is being bought... its Spectre immune and has the numbers of the Top 3)... but we dont need another Spectre immune detector thats for sure.Quote:

It would be nice if the x50 replacement was made out of magnesium like the bel sti and looks like the original passport the same way the solo s2 looks like the original solo.

Actually that looks a lot closer than I would have thought  Similar grey colour of the case, similar switches on the front, it says "SOLO" on it...
will anybody be at CES next week to report if Escort came out with any new products
i think escort should come out with a spectre immune RD lieke the STI(yes i know theyre the same company) but the x50 and rx65 are basically the same thing with some differant features and differant cases, so what if escore takes the sti and chnge the design a little, adds some stuf to it .Quote:

I have never had a Bell that did not break in some way. I have had a V1 now for 5 years, and it works perfectally. My second radar dector is a Excort x50 - well see how long this works.
As far as a "new bell or escort" Roy would be the one to ask. I know some new things are comeing out in the early part of 07, but I don't know what.
Sorry to hear that....my 840i was wonderful for several years until it was stolen...and my 985 is still going strong in my bud's WS6....4 years old now....Quote:
