Most people turn off X band which means that half of the X50's display is for nothing and the V1 can detect up to 9 of any kind of radar so tell me which one is more useless.Quote:

For example the X50 picks up another Ka source in addition to the one it is already alerting for. You won't have any warning to the new signal except for a little bar. No audio alert that a second signal is picked up from the X50. So unless you like to stare at your X50 while it picks up an alert, the threat display is not as nice as the V1's.
With the V1 you get a double beep warning when another signal is detected which is extremely nice. You can look at the road with the V1 and still get multi threats. In fact my favorite feature of the V1 is the bogey counter, I really don't care too much about the arrows.
I have used x50, V1, RX65, STi and original 8500.
If I posted that the X50 has better multi threat warning than the V1 I wouldn't be telling the truth.
