(1) Escort has not released any specifications or announced any plausible plans to do anything consumer-level via the USB port. Currently it seems like Jim's figured out how to grab firmware version info over USB but that's nowhere close to using it as a GPS device. EDIT: I took a closer look and it seems like the 9500i comes up as a HID-compliant device and Jim's simply executing standard HID property queries against the device. It doesn't get us any closer to actually communicating with the unit.Quote:
