Since it's impossible for any RD to differentiate real Radar from a door sensor, it's also impossible for one to be more sensitive to the real thing while ignoring the motion sensors. Why does this guy continously attempt to shovel $hit ?
I agree my Redline has found falses I didn't even know exist. It and the V1 false at about the same rate. Nobody should buy a Redline because it falses less than the V1 you will be disappointed.
Escort falses are much more tolerable though because they Automute properly and have better tones ...

You have to make a choice. The V1 with good sensitivity and great Q/T performance. Or the Redline with awesome sensitivity and poor Q/T performance. I think the sensitivity (at least in my area) will save you more times than good Q/T performance.

I completely agree with you, Rocky2. Of course, meaning in my area.
Re: Tested: Escort RedLine vs. Valentine One
Another fabricated fact in CP's report...........35.5 is NOT the most commonly use Ka frequency, 34.7 is by a LARGE margin. I'm sorry CP, but your title of World's Foremost authority has been revoked..........you need to go back and study the basics.
One very encouraging thing out of all this though. I see that the Escort website has not..........as of this moment.......made any kind of reference to this ninney's report. Let's hope they take the high road and keep it that way this time. The integrity of their products is better served without reference to anything published by this clown.

X2, I hope Escort doesn't use his propaganda to help sell the Redline. The Redline is a great unit and doesn't need C.P's false tests to make it look good.
Re: Tested: Escort RedLine vs. Valentine One
Peterson is just one of those guys with an agenda..."I hate Mike Valentine" So any time he reviews the V1 it can be dismissed as crap!
I do think the Redline is going to beat the V1 in some of the upcoming GOL test, but not all....;)

He didn't say it was the most exclusively used, he said, "We noted a significant variance on the other most commonly used Ka-band frequency, 35.5 GHz."
He's bad enough as it is with out us fabricating things. :)

Read the whole report CJ............you'll find this in his summary.
Nine months' worth of testing revealed some truths about the Escort RedLine. It can equal the Valentine One on X band and has a slim performance edge on K and 34.7 Ka bands. But it's significantly better at spotting the most commonly used Ka band—35.5 GHz—particularly when the radar beam is off-axis.
