I dunno the model. Some Bushnell thing that looked like binoculars. Didn't even set off the jammers. The guys in Houston tried a different one. I forgot who else tried it. Since it doesn't work, there didn't seem a lot of point in committing it to memory.
You have to understand that making your jammer jam and simply making it alert are two completely different things. One does not equal the other. Consequently, even if you can make it beep, that doesn't mean anything at all, except that it has power.

Stealth Stalker knows his sh!t man. take his word as religion. he gave you a straight answer and you continued to ignore one of the most experienced members on this forum. have just a little respect please.
Re: laser range finder to test laser shifter?
yup no problem sorry guys
Re: laser range finder to test laser shifter?
Most laser range finders are a complete different wavelength than police lidar. Even if it was the same wavelength the pulse rate would probably not be the same. hence they do not set of laser jammers. They may set of radar detectors as the spectrum they look at is much wider.
Re: laser range finder to test laser shifter?
Oh is that right, well I just shot my laser interceptor that mounted on my truck and I get no reading with my range finder when I turn it off I get a reading

OK, looks like you're safe from all possible laser shots. Feel free to cruise at well over 100mph, just make sure none of us are on the road.

Re: laser range finder to test laser shifter?
Man you guys are harsh. :p
Just for the record, I have an Osprey rangefinder with speed detection. I can use it just like a lidar gun, but it only shows speed or distance not both at the same time.
Osprey Laser Range Finder 7x 600 yard range w/ Speed Finder CAMO Comet EMC4 FREE S&H EMC4-CAMO. Osprey Range Finders.
It sets off my GX-65 and sets off my Blinder M-26. The Blinder then fires. If it actually jams my rangefinder , I have not tried yet.......but I will for the sake of this thread.
