what would you say?
The Redline is much better.
X2 I've owned both and the Redline gives you better performance from my viewpoint/experiences.
Re: 2009-2010 redline... is there a difference?
in which way is it better?
Re: 2009-2010 redline... is there a difference?
I would NOT order from Amazon. They seem to have really old stock. I ordered my first Redline from Amazon because they sent me a 20 percent off coupon for any Escort detector. I was all psyched to get it and when I did it had a build date of mid 2009! Bear in mind that I ordered it two months ago. I returned it and ordered a new one from Radar Busters...I talked to GreenRadar and told him I really wanted a recent build date. When I got it it had a build date of June 2010, exactly what I wanted.
Re: 2009-2010 redline... is there a difference?
would it be worth it for me to get the redline... as we dont have much radar here?
British Columbia - Canada (thanks HaZedXxX) top
Burnaby: Ka band (35.5) in unmarked cars. (updated 08/08/2009)
North Vancouver: Ka band (35.5) (updated 08/08/2009)
Laser:
British Columbia - LTI Ultralyte, LTI Marksman 20-20, Stalker LZ1, Laser Atlanta SpeedLaser, Pro Laser III. ProLite
Re: 2009-2010 redline... is there a difference?
:cool:Kinda strange how Redline owners want the newest build date and 8500 owners look for the older build dates.:p

I would for radar and get a good jammer LI or Blinder and you will be well protected.

Better sensitivity, so better range.
I had been using an older S7 8500 and now also have a Redline. It is more sensitive on K and Ka.

as you have probably read a few times there is no detector out there that will really protect you from laser, for that you will need a laser jammer, however the redline may be able to pick up laser from time to time, but if it does and you are above the PSL, then you should just get ready to pull over, cause he will already have your speed
and yes radarbusters.com is very good to order from :)

i was looking on amazon and i can get it for $430-$440.. and escort has it for $499.95
Why not order direct from Escort for $419??? Send in a POS detector for the $80 credit.
