Eh, I just turn off K-band on the V1 when driving the 101. Haven't seen any LEOs running K-band yet (prob because I've turned it off!).

Not sure where your going with this. These are exactly what are used in Milwaukee. This topic was on escort filtering of traffic sensors, this is the type we have here, no tsr mode will prevent this. I know what they are, I have already identified them with a model number as well as a web site showing how they work.

Correct, they are not solar. They are approximately 2 tenths of a mile apart from each other and my detectors pick them up as soon as I get on I-94. There is literally one stretch of 94 where my detector will be going off for 5 min straight. That's why I like the 9500ix so much, the gps ignores all of these. When I put just tsr mode on w/ out gps, it just stays solid k with multiple signals detected. The v1 at one point registers 9 bogeys lol.

Wow! Quite a nuisance! I don't think V1 muting could cover for 5 minutes worth. Are three some radar operated doors along 94?

That stretch of interstate stays gullied between housing on both sides until it hits the high rise bridge. No places close enough that I know of to throw a signal. On other spots of 94, definitely.

Is it one frequency? The speed sensors spray a whole bunch of frequency to pick up speed of other cars. This is why TSR slows down scanning to see if it should alert or not.

My understanding is that these sensors operate in the narrow K-band range, but will vary a bit in their center lambda maxes in response to temperature differences, which is typical behavior of such transponders.
