Would be great for all of us who live in provinces or states where detectors are banned, to be able to have a kickass detector like this new Escort.
Its not undetectable like the Redline.

    sure it is !

when you see a cop bearing down on you looking for detectors,

    just turn it off.

I was told by a rep that is not Spectre 3 immune but you have to be at close range

so you can avoid if you aware of surroundings

this is very possible. Some detectors can only detected at close range with the spectre

Though this may be possible, it's not good enough for up here in Ontario, where many regions, city's, and town's police forces not to mention O.P.P & R.C.M.P all have Specres. It would only be a matter of time before we would get nailed. Only complete immunity (which the Redline and STi's have) will work up here. Hopefully in time Escort will add this feature to this Passport MAX or something else new, with the latest & greatest technology. Here's hoping.

The less they leak, the easier it is to pin point which car has it like the 9500ix.

So, the Redline and STIR Plus must be really easy to pinpoint.
