9500ci now $2000, but with new shifters, and new standalone shifters

I got a mailing from Escort and noticed they have new shifter available for $600 standalone it is a true diode shifter now, basically look like a rebranded LI to me, with a toggle on and off switch.

The 9500ci is now $2000 with only 2 standard newer shifters. It says the the rear is now an option, for that price should be standard.

Maye Cliff will chime in to say if it is a rebranded LI.

btw, I think it's just a rebranded Laser Interceptor. Look closely at the pics.

no, it does not integrate with the ci or any other Escort radar detectors. Escort rep confirmed this on their forum. This fact lends more credence to my belief that it's jut a re-branded Laser Interceptor.
