    Default Passport S55

I'm considering running a battery of tests on this box. It's heavy as hell for its size, and drops from suction. I've seen the concerns about no collision avoidance detection filtering, and constant false's, but perhaps it's not as bad of all that. Anyone run one? I'd like your thoughts before I shell out for one.

    Thank you.

God, I love answering my own posts. This thing looked good for a test subject, but it's old, old, tech, heavy, large, and falls off the suction cups "as many other Escorts do." The absence of collision and cruise filtering drive people nuts with this one. It's $119 on Amazon, but move on for God's sake to better wares, otherwise you'll be tossing this one out your window quickly cursing Escort, and the fuzz. Amazon, and Escort should be ashamed, and heed some advice here; liquidate this dangerous crap to the fools who would buy it!
