9500ix help

Ok guys been gone for a while so hello now I made a trip from Houston to San Antonio and I noticed that I kept picking up K band and no LEOs around what do you think guys what should I do?

Has this been going on to other 9500ix detectors now I did see a DPS giving a car a ticket but I want to be able to trust my detector 100% another thing I paid for updates but I have never update it any help would be appreciated.?

The 24.15+GHz blues? Cadillac is the worst. Escort has an article dealing with "pre-collision systems, and active cruise control" issues. If no other vehicles were around you at the time it's a mystery, but perhaps something internal like your own pre-collision system, or active cruise control?

As a remedy for the 24.15 blues, I've run city mode on the highway in the past to reduce those falsies as well as turning off K band detection. One or a combination should help, but reduce you speeds.

It goes on w/ all 9500ix's & many other Models, too !
Were the Alerts regularly spaced apart every mile or two ? If so, it could be TSR (State installed- Traffic Sensing Radar.
If irregularly occurring here & there during the trip- then it's like BSM radar on other cars. (Blind Side Monitors)
Your 9500ix has no built-in filtering to silence the Alerts. To your RD it's a valid radar signal so it does what it's supposed to do & sounds an Alert.
