Re: Newbie from Southern Nevada
Just run the 9500ci shifters in receive only mode until you have a chance to test the 2 systems together. Sometimes they help each other sometimes they cancel each other out.
M6D runs both systems together and not problems, I ran both together and it made my LI's perform worse than the ZR4's.
Re: Newbie from Southern Nevada
I'm about to make the LI Quad purchase online with next day shipping. Final thoughts about whether it's worth the additional investment for the Quad over the Dual.
Re: Newbie from Southern Nevada
I went ahead with the Quad order.
After they're installed, are there any testing groups that get together in the Southern Nevada area?
Re: Newbie from Southern Nevada
I think it is important to go Quad. If you have a significant hole in your protection, you won't be able to drive aggressively.
I would say your entire setup is only as good as the weakest link, so if you have only front jammers, you should drive as if you have no jammers.
Re: Newbie from Southern Nevada
One more thing about the install. Make sure the Antenna is upside-up. Make sure the antenna is installed like this picture:

Most people make the mistake of installing it upside down because that is the way that most ads show it.
Re: Newbie from Southern Nevada
Can the antenna be placed in the plastic antenna housing on the E93 trunk?

The antenna needs to be in your front grill with a clear view of the road.
Re: Newbie from Southern Nevada
Since I'm not sure whether there's a local group that tests the setup once installed, I was thinking about getting the Speed Lab Jammer Tester. Anyone have any thoughts?
Re: Newbie from Southern Nevada
Laser tester isn't enought to see if your setup works. There is a forum member in SoCal that has a laser gun. I can't think of anyone else closer to your location.

I do drive to SoCal every so often. Which forum would I check to contact that member?
Thanks in advance.
