I used to have one of these things, what a waste of money. I was very dissapointed when I tried it out on a local radar sign, and it didn't apparently do anything. I later abandoned RDs altogether for a number of years.

I started using them again after I was late for work one day and got a ticket ina school zone. I realized that the RD would not only have prevented the ticket, it would have kept me from speeding there in the first place, and is a great reminder of where my attentiion as a driver ought to be. Now that I discovered this site, I just give my paycheck directly to Radar Roy, lol.

I know of a guy in Central Florida who could show you that laser jammers don't work.

Jammers DON'T work, and don't let anyone try to convince you other wise. I've spent tons of money of them, thinking I was invincible to traffic enforcement, but only to spend five times as much on speeding tickets and not to mention insurance increase :(

That's because there's nothing that can jam a police laser gun. When LEOs start shooting laser, there's nothing we can do about it.
