    Default Lots to learn

Hello everyone, I recently have been researching and doing my homework on radar detectors and there is so much to learn. When I compared many, the one that stood out most in my mind was the Whistler CR90. I like how it looks and everything it has to offer for the price......Not sure if I need a laser jammer or not. I do most of my driving in central Alberta between Red Deer and Calgary and recently got 2 tickets almost back to back......my concern for this investment is will it work effectively for central Alberta as I am not overly sure what the common bands that central Alberta police are using.....Any advice and direction would be greatly appreciated......Thankyou!!

Welcome to the forum. The Whistler CR90 is a pretty good, affordable entry model radar detector. As far as the citations that you received was the officer using radar or laser? It sounds like most of your driving is hwy, because of this I would recommend that you check out the Redline - https://www.radarbusters.com/Escort-...-p/redline.htm
