LI vs Blinder M47

I would be concerned about the headlamps since the are so big on the F150. Not as bad on the 2000 as the 2004+, but still pretty big. You could get away with Blinders on the front if you Veiled the headlights and you don't have a front tag. The honeycomb grill is a black hole, no laser reflection off it. :)

Mine has the AC heat exchanger in front of the radiator and its painted black. Don't know about his year (model change at 2004) though. :(

There is a serious misconception that black does not reflect laser. It does, albeit less than white or colours do. As I often point out, I have got readings off the back of a jogger wearing a black running suit at 2500 feet.

I got readings off a black flying vulture at several hundred feet! However, even though it does reflect it does tend not to reflect nearly as much, since the carbon used in black paint pigments tends to have the property of blocking a great deal more IR than visible light (which is why its the "active" ingredient in Veil). All other things being equal I'd take a black grill over a white one for stealth. :)

So I'm at the decision point for my used Infiniti M35X, White, with the chrome grill.
1) Is the added cost of the LI vs. the Blinder M27 really worth it?
2) I don't have a Pick-up truck, do I need HP or regular?
3) when I do the rear, the head spread is gonna be only 15" is that enough for good protection?
3) When the GoL did their 2007/2008 tests, and Radar Roy's RV, did they use HP, or Regular LI heads?

I'm so confused! ;>\

BTW, my driving habit is usually <10 over PSL without CM, I probably won't do >15 over PSL with CM.

I think you'll be fine with the regular LI. I have one on my truck and I get great results in testing and in the real world.

Only way to know for sure is to get it tested.
