Issues with the LI i'm having, "again ?" False alerting "reigl constantly, a gun not even in the USA. Also now it's also falsing TraffiPatrol XR." This is time number two. Honestly would it be nice to get them fixed yes, but crawling under the car for a thrid time to go through all that when i'm living in a state that doesn't even use laser. Not worth my time. Although. To reply to someone in this thread. 1. I never sent a blinder back to blinder when they broke they got tossed. I gave LI a chance my friend. These have already been to LI USA before. I have video proof. Lastly. I truely think thing's where taken way to far when I merely posted that I had an issue. I am not bashing LI as a product. I'm just saying that I personally don't care for them anymore. They are not durable enough for my uses. Is blinder a godsend either? No. They break too. Nothing is perfect. All I am saying is. I purchased a set of blinder's used right at the same time I purchased these LI's and yet the Blinder is still kicking and i'm using it today infact on my way into work. Yet the LI is already broken, yet again and it was purchased brand new from a legit dealer. I don't know something doesn't sit well with me, as this has happened now two times. With the same error. It lead's me to beleive the error has not been fixed. So since i've had "better luck" with blinder durability wise. I'm probably going to just use their jammer's. May i get a tad of PT yes. Although oh well. I'd rather have them work then fail me on a 1,000 mile trip in mid trip. Did my LI's jam hard YOU BET! They jammed many of an officer before taking a dump on me. Oh By the way since i'm such a liar. Here is the Film from 1 1/2 years ago. From when it happened the first time. Grab your popcorn people. Enjoy the truth. Although be prepared, this film is very shaky as it was shot on a kodak still camera not a camcorder. I appologize for the shake before hand although hey it is what it is, and it show's the error in more clarity.

So you got a defective unit. It was bound to happen at some point. I'm sure LI will take care of it, they have excellent customer service.

It seems that you decided to post this thread for the sole purpose to bash LI - despite your statement about your intentions.

Its unfortunate that you have problems but since you feel its not warranted to go through the proper chain to get them fixed, and decided to post here rather, you are doing nothing but smearing a good company.

Take your blinders and leave this place.

just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I was there when Alpine had his first bout of trouble and he showed it to me alerting to Reigl. So this is a real problem. Why is it happening, well it could be a few things. There could be moisture in the heads which caused corrosion to form on the circuit board. It could be a bad part be it in the heads or cpu, it could be a software glitch, it could also be a soldering issue in any of the components that is causing havoc. So until the system is taken apart and inspected you will never know. But what we do know is that it is not functioning right. If I was LI USA, I would replace the whole system with a new one, that way you have the whole system to inspect to get to the root cause of the problem and fix it in production and if it happens to someone else you will know what is causing it.

I just wanted to say thankyou to happya$$ and to Languy, and all the other's for the support. This post was just as happya$$ stated. It was only intended to bring information to the board. Not to discredit any buisness, or testing. I am glad that the information has been shared. Hopefully other's will know more of what's going on if their unit's should have this issue. This is the only reason it was brought here. For the informational purpose . As Roy himself said this board is to inform us motorist's . Which i'm proud, and glad to say it has for many year's. I hope that it continues to bring that esteamed level of electronics education to user's for year's to come, and thankyou very much Happya$$ and Languy and to all those on the board for sharing your idea's. As of now i'm considering looking into the possiblity of maybe trying a capacitor in series in the power lead? Perhaps it's what people used to have issues with on here? A noisy electrical system? Idk what but obviously something is up? Although I would think if it where that, that I'd have the same issues on my blinder system on the same battery system? So perhaps Languy has some good directions to go in. Perhaps it's just a faulty head, or control box. That's what we did 1 1/2 yr's back is replaced the entire system control box and head's. Although, man I would like to see this issue not happen to another forum member. I want you guy's to have the best because we all deserve it. We forum member's take huge pride in our gadget's unlike other's out there on the street's. Especially us LI user's. . So god bless, and thankyou to all. Please keep idea's rolling. I get Traffipatrol XR alerts from Infinitys all the time. That's how you know it's an Infinity, lol. Can't imagine what would be falsing Riegl though. I don't recall any reports of that before.

Not calling you a liar. If you say you're having the problem, I believe it. Just saying that, in the past, you haven't made it easy for them to fix the problem for you.
