Everything is working properly, finally. I ran into a few more problems after I figured out what "asian lady" was saying. "Connection to sensors 2,3 are pretty bad, parking aid is activated". So I called Cliff at LI and informed me that they might have only installed the power switch, which was right. It was stuck on parking sensor mode with no way to switch it to jam mode. So I go back to the installer and tell them they forgot to install the PA/JAM switch, which clearly said in yellow neon stickers in order to install the unit properly it had to be installed as well as the sensors connected to 2 & 3. I got the PA/JAM switch installed and drove off before making sure everything was right; wrong. I was in a rush, and left without turning the damn thing on. Finally realized the connection to sensors 2 & 3 were still bad, so I called Cliff and had him on the phone as I went in search of the CPU. Turns out, the installers decided to plug the sensors into 1 & 4, where the dust covers were originally and moved them to 2 & 3. I moved the sensors into 2 & 3 and finally the "Welcome" (in English) was music to my ears. But all of a sudden, my hardwired V1 stopped getting power. Called Cliff again, who advised me to go back to the installer, of which I was hesitant to do so at first, and have them look at it. So I went in today, and thankfully one of the nicer guys was there alone with no work load. He took a look at my fuse panel and explained in looks like they used the same ground for the LI as I did for my V1, and also crimped/soldered together the "red" wire that connects to the V1 "brain" (best word I could use) and the LI (?). Turns out the fuse blew, so they put in a new one. And right now, everything works! I'll be putting up some installation pictures tomorrow! I've been patiently waiting until everything works!
