Just to correct you on one point.... the LPP is not available via a "gray-market," though I agree that both the AL is in that category.

There are legitimate distribution networks now in the U.S. and Canada. That is quite clear from KMPH's website and also if you Google well enough to find them.

I don't think they have been around for long, but they are now here.

^ I'm not so sure - yes, the official LPP-UK/KMPH-UK website does cite that there are North-American distributors, but the exact legality of the item, as based on patent status (which would in-turn affect its importation), is still suspect.

While these distributors are in-operation as legitimate businesses, there remains questions that are unanswered.

To me, the concepts of sales/support as well as service is, in the case of the AL and LPP (and it seems, the LI as well), totally divorced from their "legal" status of importation.

The support with LPP couldnt be better IMO. I have always been very impressed with their high level of professionalism in sales and their support has been top knotch from my experience as well as from the feedack i heave read from others on this forum.

Having A USA and Canadian distributer was the main reason I went with LPP vs antilaser. I didnt have to worry about customs or dealing with croatia if there was ever a problem.

i had my LPP 2 days after payment!

Then there is the issue as to whether or not the FDA has deemed the item to be "safe" and able to be sold with their blessing in the U.S. :?

Yup, of course Blinder is FDA approved. It also has a valid U.S. patent. I guess that's the whole entire point of this conversation. Blinder is the only company that has complied with all laws. I'm assuming the business is insured etc. Everything is legit :!:

I don't think any other "parking sensor" :roll: company can claim this or am I wrong :?: ooops :oops: Escort/Bel and Lidatek pass all the tests as well

Its around $700 big ones! :shock: For the price they are asking I could just as well hire a criminal lawyer! I have laser shield and thinking of painting it lightly with vail and save up for two years for the m-20.
