No but seriously, first dibs on a test drive? You should probably operate the camera so it does not break, wouldn't want a stranger responsible for such a nice piece of equipment (the camera).

We could probably run a laptop off of one of those AC/DC inverters. I have one which I can bring.

I may be able to dig up a pair of walkie talkies-will check in the garage this weekend and let you know-we could always use cell phones as a backup.
